South Park Baptist Church Choir
Published 2/8/2005
What would you have if you put a bunch of stay-at-home moms, engineers, maintenance workers, teachers, high school students and college students in a room with a piano? At South Park Baptist Church we would call it choir practice. Our church is made up of people from all walks of life and our choir is no different. While several of our choir members have formal music training and some sing in other groups as well, many have nothing more than a desire to praise God through singing.
Our choir is always looking for new choir members. If you would like to get involved with the choir, please either talk to Phil Berry, or just go to choir practice. The choir usually meets for practice on Sunday afternoon at about five o'clock. On Sundays when the time is different or when the choir will not meet the change is usually noted in the church bulletin.
Do not let your fears or lack of training keep you from getting involved with this ministry. Some of our choir members knew nothing of reading music until after joining the choir. Come and join the fun!
